Membership at C.A.C Camp of God

Are you interested in joining the Camp of God at CAC Revival Center? We invite you to attend our membership class to get connected, grow in your faith, and learn more about our community. This class provides an excellent opportunity to understand who we are, what we believe, and how you can get involved.

Intro

Membership Class

The membership class is offered periodically on Wednesday evenings, and childcare is provided by reservation. To sign up or if you have any questions, please use the forms below.

  1. Personal Testimony of Salvation: Each member should have a personal testimony of their salvation in Christ (Acts 4:12; Rom. 10:9).
  2. Acknowledgment of Church Order: Members must acknowledge and obey the church's order and its officers, including Apostles, Elders, Deacons, and Deaconesses (Heb. 13:17; Eph. 4:11; 1 Cor. 12:28).
  3. Regular Attendance: Members should regularly attend church meetings and participate in full communion, not absenting themselves without sufficient reason (Heb. 10:25).
  4. Adherence to Doctrine: Members should conform to the fundamental doctrines of the church and participate in its necessary ordinances (2 John 1:9; Rom. 6:17; Rom. 6:4; Luke 22:19; 1 Cor. 11:24).
  5. Financial Support: Members are expected to contribute towards the support of the church, as taught in the Bible (Gen. 14:20; Gen. 28:22; Lev. 27:30; 1 Chron. 29:14; 1 Cor. 16:1-2; Heb. 7:8-9,17).
  6. Confidentiality: Members should keep the counsels of the church within the church (Matt 7:6).
  7. Mutual Support: Members should pray for and support each other, remembering that we are joint members in the Body of Christ (Heb. 10:24; 1 Cor. 12:25-26; 1 Tim. 2:1; Gal. 6:2).
  8. Unity and Peace: Members should endeavor to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Eph. 4:3).
  1. Pray Before Attending: Always pray before coming to the House of God (Matt. 6:6; Eph. 6:18).
  2. Punctuality: Be in your seat at the commencement of the service to set a good example (Gen. 22:3; Psalm 108:2; Prov. 8:18; Song of Solomon 7:12).
  3. Bring Your Family: Bring your children and relatives to the House of God, as it is your duty and privilege (Matt. 19:14; Ex. 2:10; Acts 10:24; John 1:41-46; Gen. 18:19).
  4. Support Your Pastor: Make the Pastor your personal friend and pray for him (1 Thess. 2:7; Joel 2:17; Mal. 2:7; Rom. 15:30; 2 Cor. 1:11; Eph. 6:19; Heb. 13:18).
  5. Make the Church Your Home: Consider the church your spiritual home (Acts 2:46-47).
  6. Speak Respectfully: Never speak disrespectfully about God’s servants or their ministrations, especially in front of your children (Gal. 6:7; Prov. 22:8; Hos. 8:7).
  7. Bring Your Bible: Always bring your Bible to the House of God (Psalm 1:2; Psalm 119:6; Rom. 15:4; 2 Tim. 3:15-17).
  8. Reverent Worship: Enter reverently, pray fervently, listen attentively, and worship God in the beauty of holiness (Psalm 118:27-28; Eccles. 5:1; Rom. 12:11; 1 Thess. 5:17; Psalm 11:4).

 

  • Elders and Leaders: Our elders, deacons, and leaders will meet the criteria assigned to them in the Scriptures (1 Tim. 3:1-13; 5:17-22; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Peter 5:1-4).
  • Seeking God’s Will: We will seek God’s will for our church community, following the leading of the Holy Spirit (Acts 20:28; 1 Peter 5:1-5).
  • Care and Growth: We will care for you and seek your growth as a disciple of Christ, equipping you for service and praying for you regularly (Eph. 4:11-13; James 5:14).
  • Biblical Teaching: We will provide teaching and counsel from the whole of Scripture (Acts 20:27-28; Gal. 6:6; 1 Tim. 5:17-18).
  • Guard Against False Teachings: We will be vigilant against false teachings (Acts 20:28-31).
  • Church Discipline: We will exercise church discipline when necessary (Matt. 18:15-20; 1 Cor. 5; Gal. 6:1).
  • Leading by Example: We will set an example and join you in fulfilling the duties of church members (1 Cor. 11:1; Phil. 3:17; 1 Tim. 4:12).

Baptism is a public declaration of your decision to trust Jesus Christ with your life. It symbolizes Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection, signifying your new life in Christ.
